At the start of each year, St. Raphael School students arrive eager and ready to learn, and at the end of each year, members of the 8th-grade matriculate to some of the best Catholic, Charter and Magnet high schools available.
Their success is due in large part to the generous support of our friends and donors, including members of the St. Raphael School Development Board and members of the Friends of St. Raphael, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, our Sister School – Corpus Christi School, The Ahmanson Foundation, the Catholic Education Foundation, The Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation, the William H. Hannon Foundation, The Riordan Foundation, The Specialty Family Foundation, the Weingart Foundation, our Sponsor a Student program participants, and the many, many individuals, corporations and family foundations that provide us with ongoing tuition assistance and program support.
St. Raphael recently moved to a 200-day school year. The benefits of adding 20 instructional days are clear. The move to a 200-day year, however, has increased overall costs. A portion of the cost will be met through increased tuition. For some St. Raphael families, however, a tuition increase of any amount is untenable.
Now more than ever, your support is essential to our students and their success and to the future of our school. Your support will help close the budget gap created by the addition of 20 extra days and will make it possible for the many students in need of assistance to attend St. Raphael and access our technology-enhanced, values based education.
