Spiritual Formation

St. Raphael teachers are committed to an ongoing faith formation, and to the growth of their own faith and the faith formation of all students.

St. Raphael School students participate in daily religion classes and School Masses with liturgical instruction from the school pastor. Students attend Special Masses on Holy Days and gather at church for special religious occasions such as Stations of the Cross and May Crowning. Student council members guide students in daily morning and afternoon prayer. Students serve as acolytes in the School Weekly Mass. Acolytes also serve at Monthly Family Masses.

St. Raphael School students, parents and teachers sponsor a monthly Family Mass where the entire school community is invited to attend and celebrate with us.

Sacraments

Sacramental preparations are done in conjunction with the parish. Parents are required to attend sacramental meetings that focus on faith formation. The 2nd-grade teacher prepares students for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.
