Overview & Curriculum

St. Raphael School offers a rigorous academic program. Enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced teachers provide technology-enhanced academic instruction, infusing lesson plans with a variety of teaching techniques and a love for the learning process. Teachers have high quality teaching resources at their disposal to enrich the learning process through the use of innovative classroom tools, including streaming videos, interactive Internet-based programs and activities, music, Power Point presentations, traditional games and songs, role-playing and drama, and the creative arts.

St. Raphael School proudly accepts students from a variety of educational backgrounds. The school works with students and families to help students reach their highest academic, spiritual, athletic and emotional potential. St. Raphael graduates are critical thinkers with strong Catholic-core values and therefore they are well prepared to become successful high school students upon graduation.

Title 1

In addition to the core instruction, we also participate in Title 1 services for students who qualify. The students who qualify are given small group instruction in reading and language arts.

Curriculum

The curriculum at St. Raphael School is designed to prepare students for success in high school and beyond. Teachers use Common Core Standards for math and language arts, as well as the California Content Standards to develop lessons that will prepare students for future academic success.
